Shut the computer down completely (Start | Shutdown). Leave it off for 2 - 3 minutes, then turn it back on. Try to connect.
Step 2:If you still have trouble connecting, open Internet Explorer, Click on Tools | Internet Options | Connections. Ensure that a dot is next to "Always dial my default." and click Ok. Close Internet Explorer, restart the computer, and try to connect.

Step 2:Shut the ADSL Router by unplugging the power or, if there is a switch in the back, turning it off. Leave it off for 1 - 2 minutes, and turn the power on. Wait 3 minutes, then try to connection.
Step 3:Verify you have dial tone on the phone line, and that the phone line is plugged into the ADSL router, and STRAIGHT into the wall.
Step 4:Ensure ADSL filters are plugged into ALL phones on the ADSL phone number. If a filter is missing from a phone, unplug the phone, repeat Step 1.
